My client are looking for a Senior Voice Engineer for a 6-month contract role (Inside IR35), responsible for delivering a variety of Trading Voice services within the company. This role involves a combination of engineering, operational support, monitoring, and controls to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and management of Trading Voice infrastructure and services.
- Perform regular "Ready for Business" checks to ensure system readiness.
- Provide Level 3 Engineering support and troubleshoot any issues related to Trader Voice systems.
- Certify new software releases and evaluate new system features.
- Adhere to Internal Controls and operational procedures to maintain compliance.
- Ensure all deadlines and SLAs are met, delivering results in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking for:
- Extensive experience in Trader Voice Engineering and a deep understanding of Trader Voice systems (e.g., IPC, Hoot, Private Lines, Cloud9).
- Expertise in SIP protocol and VoIP Telephony systems.
- Experience running software in a VDI environment.
- Proficiency with VMware (ESXi, KVM) and managing virtual machines.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL and MS SQL, including administration and query management.
- Familiarity with CISCO telephony systems, MS Teams, and Skype for Business applications.
- Understanding of Private Wires and Hoot Networks.
- Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and VM/ESXi environments.
- Knowledge of industry-standard Service Delivery practices (Agile, ITIL, ITSM).
