Remote Data Engineer (Permanent)

Data Center Facilities Operations Control Engineer Location: 100% Remote (UK-based only) Contract: 6-Month Contract Oversee disaster recovery testing in line with strict data center standards Own and deliver high-impact, cross-functional projects with business-critical outcomes Manage and report on key operational metrics and performance indicators Conduct risk assessments and ensure full compliance with internal and external regulations Drive transformation by scoping, planning, and executing improvement initiatives Mentor and coach Network Operations teams on tooling, systems, and operational excellence Contribute to broader infrastructure strategy, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud models ✅ Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field Strong experience in enterprise network infrastructure : design, deployment, and maintenance Demonstrated ability to manage complex, quick-turn projects with confidence and clarity Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Some travel may be required
