My Technology client are looking for an experienced Business Architect to join a major transformation programme. This is a hands-on strategic role requiring someone who can blend business architecture expertise with strong stakeholder engagement and practical delivery capability. Ideally this person will have a proven track record in defining operating models, identifying gaps, and ensuring alignment between business strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Model Development: Define and evolve the organisation’s operating model to support the shift from an outsourced model to a right-sourced model.
- Gap Analysis: Assess current vs. target state, identifying gaps and defining clear remediation plans.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure the business architecture directly supports the organisation’s strategic goals and transformation objectives.
- Change Management: Guide the business through architectural and operating model changes, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
- Process Architecture: Oversee the design and optimisation of core business processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency across the future-state model.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to capture requirements, communicate architecture decisions, and maintain alignment.
- Capability Modelling: Define and document the organisational capabilities required to achieve strategic goals.
- Value Stream Mapping: Identify and map end-to-end value streams that deliver value to customers.
- Information Mapping: Design information flows and data models that underpin the target operating model.
