Hiring: Cisco ACI Engineer | Β£650/day | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite β Sheffield)
My Global consultancy client are looking for a Cisco ACI Engineer to join an exciting Firewall Infrastructure project with a leading enterprise client. This is a contract opportunity offering Β£550 per day and requires 2 days onsite per week in Sheffield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert on a major Firewall infrastructure project.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are achieved.
- Oversee and manage vendor relationships across both project delivery and technical domains.
About You:
- Strong experience as a Data Network & Security Specialist within large-scale enterprise networks.
- Deep technical expertise in networking technologies, especially SDN including Cisco ACI, spine & leaf architectures, and vendors such as Cisco and Arista.
- Hands-on knowledge in Subnetting, Switching, Routing, VLANs, VRFs, NAT, VXLAN, EVPN, etc.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and modern automation/configuration tools like Ansible, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and more.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE) are a significant advantage.
- Comfortable working under pressure, with flexibility for occasional out-of-hours delivery.
