Location: 100% Remote (UK-based only)

Contract: 6-Month Contract

Rate: Up to Β£55/hr

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee disaster recovery testing in line with strict data center standards
  • Own and deliver high-impact, cross-functional projects with business-critical outcomes
  • Manage and report on key operational metrics and performance indicators
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure full compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Act as the lead point of contact during annual audits, ensuring all deliverables are tracked and met
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization across operations workflows
  • Drive transformation by scoping, planning, and executing improvement initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach Network Operations teams on tooling, systems, and operational excellence
  • Contribute to broader infrastructure strategy, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud models

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field OR 5–10 years of hands-on experience in operations, engineering, or team leadership
  • Strong experience in enterprise network infrastructure: design, deployment, and maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, quick-turn projects with confidence and clarity
  • Clear, structured communication style and ability to present technical insights to broad audiences
  • Experience working in regulated, audit-driven environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Proactive, autonomous work style with excellent judgment under pressure
  • Some travel may be required
