We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong DevOps expertise to join a fast-paced financial services environment. This role will suit someone with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and platform engineering across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and secure software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to improve platform reliability and performance.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions across cloud platforms.
- Support cloud migration and transformation initiatives within highly regulated financial services environments.
- Ensure cloud platforms align with security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues across production and non-production environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with at least two of the following cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong DevOps and automation experience.
- Expertise with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Containerisation and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, and cloud governance principles.
- Previous experience working within financial services, banking, insurance, or highly regulated environments is essential.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with SRE practices and platform engineering.
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks within financial services.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
- Relevant cloud certifications across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
