We are seeking a
Senior AI Prompt Engineer to join a client delivering enterprise‑scale AI solutions across software engineering, automation, and business transformation initiatives.
This is a senior technical role requiring deep expertise in prompt engineering, AI‑assisted software development, and automation.
- The successful candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience with
- Microsoft Copilot ,
- Git Hub Copilot , and
Claude (Claude Code) , alongside a strong background in software engineering, Power Shell scripting, and enterprise automation.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing high‑quality prompt strategies while developing secure, scalable, production‑ready AI‑enabled solutions that enhance developer productivity and business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimise, and maintain advanced prompt libraries and prompt engineering frameworks for:
- Git Hub Copilot (code generation, code review, refactoring, and developer productivity)
- Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts to automate enterprise processes, system integrations, and AI‑driven workflows.
- Build, implement, and support AI‑powered automation pipelines and developer tooling.
- Design, develop, review, and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise platforms, applications, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish prompt engineering standards, governance, best practices, and reusable design patterns.
- Evaluate AI solution quality, performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams to deliver AI‑enabled capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams where required.
- Demonstrable senior‑level experience in AI Prompt Engineering.
• Hands‑on commercial experience with
- Strong background in software engineering, automation, and AI‑assisted development.
- Extensive experience developing enterprise Power Shell scripts for automation, administration, and systems integration.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages
- Python
- C#
- Power Shell
- Experience designing and implementing AI‑assisted developer workflows, AI agents, or copilot solutions.
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices and enterprise engineering standards.
