Grade 3 FTE £28,153 to £34,811. Actual salary is £24,891 - £30,777depending on experience.

Ninestiles, an Academy is seeking a highly motivated andenthusiastic person to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. Candidates musthave a good level of experience and be able to cover colleagues' absence within the lesson across the whole academy curriculum.

Candidates will also have excellent interpersonal and customerservice skills as this role requires regular contact with parents, carers,colleagues, learners, and the local community. The successful candidate will also need to be able to demonstrate that theyare able to cover colleagues' absence and create an orderly and purposefulenvironment in which learners can complete the work set. Other essential skills involve the ability tobe able to work flexibly and prioritise workload, work calm under pressure anduphold a professional, friendly manner at all times.

Purpose of Role:

  • To create a calm and productive environment in which learners can complete the work set.
  • To use specialist skills, training and experience to support learners to achieve their best work.
  • Toestablish productive working relationships with learners, acting as a rolemodel
