Grade 4 spine point range 23-31 FTE £34,434 - £41,771 Actual salary £30,444 - £36,931

Permanent role - Term time only

Working hours: 8.15am – 4.15pm Monday – Thursday, 8.15am – 3.15pm Friday (hours may need to be adjusted by the Principal from time to time and will be based on the requirements of the Academy)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and co‑ordinate the implementation and delivery of the academy’s behaviour management policy through structured reflection in the Behaviour Management Resource (BMR) unit
  • Teach, practice and provide feedback on positive social skills
  • Promote the importance of inclusion, not exclusion, with learners
  • Support effective pastoral care across the Academy while leading the Behaviour Modification Room provision

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in a behaviour management and/or restorative role, ideally within a school setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills with regular contact to parents, carers, colleagues, learners and the local community
  • Ability to work flexibly, prioritise workload, remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional, friendly manner at all times
  • Safeguarding training or good knowledge of child safeguarding and protection procedures (full training will be provided)
