Overview
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role focused on delivering high-quality software through robust testing practices and automation, ensuring regulatory compliance and customer expectations. The role follows a hybrid model with two days per week in either the London or Birmingham office. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Execution of functional, regression, and integration testing on web applications.
- Development and upkeep of automated test scripts to support scalable delivery.
- Management of defects using Wrike and JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participation in user acceptance testing to align platforms with customer needs.
- Contribution to retrospectives and sprint reviews to enhance processes and quality.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes for front-end web development.
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including script creation and maintenance.
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate risks.

- Familiarity with Wrike, JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and Python scripting.
