The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This is a 6 month fixed-term contract role. The role will focus on delivering high-quality software through robust testing practices and automation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Execution of functional, regression, and integration testing on web applications.
  • Development and upkeep of automated test scripts to support scalable delivery.
  • Management of defects using Wrike and JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Participation in user acceptance testing to align platforms with customer needs.
  • Contribution to retrospectives and sprint reviews to enhance processes and quality.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes for front-end web development.
  • Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, including script creation and maintenance.
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate risks.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Wrike, JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks and Python scripting.
  • Exposure to customer-facing roles and usability testing principles.
  • Understanding of version control systems.

This position follows a hybrid model, with two days per week required in either the London or Birmingham office. It offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise while contributing to high-quality software delivery in a regulated Insurtech environment.
