Overview

You get to build the GTM once and have it compound for years. One or two partnerships here can unlock hundreds of thousands, potentially millions, of users. Just leverage. You'll work directly with founders, shape strategy, and own the outcomes. If it works, everyone knows it was you.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Land bank and platform partnerships that define the market
  • Embed a compliance product into core financial journeys
  • Build a GTM engine that scales without burning cash
  • Influence product direction at the infrastructure level

This is category-defining work, not incremental growth.

The context (brief): From April 2026, nearly 3 million self-employed people and landlords must move from HMRC systems to private, approved software. HMRC won’t offer a solution. Banks and platforms need one. This business is building the embedded tax infrastructure they’ll rely on.

What you’ll own:

  • End-to-end B2B2C GTM strategy
  • Partnerships with UK banks (challenger and traditional)
  • Commercial structures: licensing, revenue share, white-label
  • A GTM playbook that outlasts you

This role is for you if:

  • You’re comfortable with regulation and long sales cycles
  • You want leverage, not volume
  • You don’t need hand-holding to do your best work
  • Startup experience matters. This is an ownership role.

What success looks like:

  • 2026: Live or pilot bank/platform partnerships
  • 2027–28: Scaled distribution with structurally low CACA GTM engine that runs without paid acquisition
