We are partnering with a leading organisation that is embarking on a significant transformation programme. They are looking for anIT Project Manager to join during the early stages of this journey. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing best practice for implementing a new target operating model, strategically supporting IT requirements across multiple business units.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project management lifecycle, including stage gate processes, risk and change controls/escalation, and steering committee reporting, for a portfolio of global IT projects.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects in line with agreed governance frameworks and performance targets.
- Validate that all projects are aligned with the organisation’s IT strategy.
- Work closely with the IT PMO Manager and project sponsors to deliver agreed budget objectives.
- Foster a positive stakeholder experience, ensuring strong alignment between the IT function and business units.
- Promote strategic alignment, clear communication, and understanding across the IT function and the wider organisation.
- Coordinate effectively between internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and IT teams to achieve optimal project outcomes.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proven track record as an international/global IT Project Manager; FMCG sector experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with experience in multiple approaches being advantageous.
- Solid financial skills to manage budgets, costs, and related processes.
- Resilient, composed, and effective under pressure.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
