Monday – Friday role with no shifts! We are looking for someone to join our Data Centre Engineering team to complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance to our critical Infrastructure at our owned sites. The role involves routine and unplanned maintenance of the critical and non-critical infrastructure along with provisioning IT services to meet our internal and external customer requirements. The provisioning of IT services could be at any of our operational sites. All works are recorded via our industry leading management portals which include CAFM, DCIM and Service Management tools. The individual will have a keen eye for detail and a pro-active attitude towards their duties. Will have good communication skills, is able to work as part of a team as well as managing their own workload and time management. Keen to learn – through on the job training, formal training and personal study. Key Responsibilities: * Complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance of critical M&E assets * Complete condition monitoring of critical IT assets * Respond to issues in an efficient manner to maintain business SLA’s * Complete and document fault finding as part of root cause analysis * Provision IT services following an approved workflow * Report and track issues via the appropriate management tool * Keep management and other departments up to date at all times * Promote and adhere to health and safety requirements * Assist Operations and Security Staff as required Experience * Previous experience of working within a Facilities organisation operating as an Electrical Engineer * Good communication skills – both written and verbal * IT Literate * Attention to detail * Ability to remain focussed under pressure * Ability to work on own or as part of a team * Ability to follow detailed instructions * Good time management skills * Ability to diagnose and prioritise problems * Professional working attitude Benefits Package: * Pension Scheme with up to 5% Employer Contribution * Life Assurance (4 x Salary) * 33-Days annual leave * Bike 2 Work Scheme * Salary sacrifice car scheme Apply now for an immediate interview
