Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Recycle Plant

Shifts: Early: Tue – Fri (6am – 2pm) Sat (6am – 1.30pm) Backs: Tue – Fri (1pm – 9pm) Sat (1pm – 8.30pm)

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are proud to be working with an award‑winning, industry leading manufacturer of products that cater to a variety of industries including automotive, aviation, bus and coach, rail, furniture, and custom projects.

As Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that all electrical and mechanical maintenance needs are met or exceeded to the level set by the Engineering Manager and partake in all improvement initiatives where applicable. To react promptly and efficiently to all breakdown requirements when required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance activities as required.
  • Participate in all planned, preventative, and predictive activities as required.
  • Participate in all plant efficiency improvements when required.
  • Fully support the maintenance team in providing a first‑class service to the company.
  • Log all job data promptly on to internal maintenance system for history and KPI measurement.
  • Machine downtime efficiency.
  • Planned to reactive job completion ratio.
  • Allocated job efficiency targets.
  • Achieve standards set by Engineering Manager.
Requirements
  • Time served Engineer or qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience working within Mechanical, Electrical and Technical disciplines.
  • Excellent all‑round Technical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems knowledge.
  • Previous experience of working in an operational environment would be preferential.
  • Confident, self‑motivated, and resilient, able to proactively identify issues and drive delivery of solutions.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
