We’re working with a high-growth technology business that has recently become part of a global IT services group, creating a powerful platform for expansion across the UK & Ireland. With enhanced backing, broader capabilities, and a strengthened portfolio across cloud, managed services, infrastructure, AV, and cybersecurity, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking for a driven Account Manager to be part of that journey.
This is a true hybrid role combining account management and new business, where you’ll have the autonomy to build your pipeline while also developing existing client relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing accounts
- Driving new business through networking, prospecting, and referrals
- Owning the full sales cycle from first contact through to close
- Engaging with senior stakeholders (IT Directors, Heads of IT, C-suite)
- Running client meetings to uncover challenges and opportunities
- Working with technical teams to shape cloud and managed service solutions
- Building and delivering proposals, presentations, and commercial deals
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across a broad tech portfolio
- Representing the business at events and within partner ecosystems
- Proven experience in IT sales (Account Manager / BDM / similar)
- Strong experience selling cloud solutions and managed services (essential)
- Comfortable running the full sales cycle independently
- A blend of hunter and farmer able to win new logos and grow accounts
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to spot opportunities
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Proactive, self-driven, and target-focused
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
