As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing technology projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Team Management:
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitoring progress and providing support as needed.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key milestones and achievements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project deliverables meet their requirements.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify and address any deviations from project plans.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
