The client is undertaking a major digital transformation initiative to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 as its new CRM and business management platform. The organisation is seeking a Project Manager to assist with the delivery of this critical programme, working closely with their chosen implementation partner and key stakeholders across the business. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the Dynamics 365 solution is delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards, while aligning with the organisations strategic goals and change priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the end-to-end project management of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, ensuring effective governance, planning, and delivery.
- Manage the relationship with the implementation partner, acting as the primary point of contact to oversee delivery milestones, risks, and performance.
- Engage and coordinate internal stakeholders across departments (Membership, Finance, IT, Regional Offices, etc.) to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure robust change management and communication plans are in place to support user adoption.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to the Executive Team and Steering Group.
- Oversee testing, data migration, user training, and post-implementation support planning.
- Ensure all project documentation, governance materials, and lessons learned are appropriately recorded and shared.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong project management expertise with experience managing external delivery partners and complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience within the not-for-profit, membership, or trade union sector (desirable but not essential).
- Strong understanding of change management, business process mapping, and system integration.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
