A fast-growing B2B SaaS company working across cloud, data and AI is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer to help secure modern AWS-based platforms and emerging AI workloads. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, detection engineering and incident response, not manual security gatekeeping.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement AWS security controls using defence-in-depth principles
- Automate cloud security controls and response workflows using Python, Bash and IaC
- Build, tune and maintain high-value detections using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
- Respond to and triage security incidents across cloud and SaaS environments
- Partner closely with engineers to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
Essential Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong hands-on AWS experience (practical delivery, not certifications only)
- Python and/or Bash used for security automation
- Terraform or CloudFormation for deploying security controls
- Experience with at least three of: CNAPP, CSPM, EDR, SOAR, SIEM
- Prior experience responding to security alerts or incidents
