An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's fastest-growing businesses in the electric vehicle charging sector. Backed by significant investment and having achieved exceptional growth over the past two years, we are now launching our Manchester operation and are seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead the expansion.
This is far more than a traditional sales role. You will be responsible for establishing and growing our presence in the North West, with a clear pathway to building and leading your own team and progressing into a Director-level position as the business continues to scale.
The OpportunityAs our first hire in Manchester, you will have the autonomy and responsibility to develop new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and create a high-performing sales function from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a rapidly growing business within the EV sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to establish the Manchester operation.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across key sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline, consistently achieving and exceeding targets.
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Work closely with senior leadership to support the company's growth strategy.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a sales team as the Manchester office expands.
- Become a key figure in the business with a genuine opportunity to progress into a leadership and directorship role.
