A fast-growing, international marketing business is seeking its first dedicated IT & Security Support Specialist. Operating across London and New York, the organisation delivers large-scale, data-driven digital campaigns for globally recognised brands. As the business continues to scale, maintaining robust IT operations and a strong security posture is critical. This role will play a key part in ensuring both.
This is a hands-on, standalone role responsible for day-to-day IT operations and the ongoing maintenance of the company’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will support users across multiple locations while ensuring systems, processes, and controls meet both operational and security standards.
This position requires someone comfortable owning IT internally, balancing user support with security and compliance responsibilities in a cloud-first environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, access control, and device setup
- Provide day-to-day IT support across hardware, software, and connectivity issues for UK and US teams
- Administer core IT systems, with a strong focus on Google Workspace at an organisational level
- Maintain and improve IT documentation, processes, and internal procedures
- Support users in adhering to IT and security best practices
- Monitor and manage IT and security support channels, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
- Act as a first point of contact for security incidents, following defined escalation procedures
- Manage SaaS applications and ensure appropriate access and security controls are in place
- Coordinate device procurement, mobile device management, and remote troubleshooting
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support IT operations
- Take an active role in maintaining the ISO 27001-certified ISMS
- Support audit preparation, evidence collection, and corrective action tracking
- Help ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 27001 controls and standards across the business
- Assist with risk management activities, including risk assessments and mitigation tracking
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing
- Work cross-functionally to embed security and compliance processes
- Proven experience in IT support, IT administration, or workplace technology roles
- Strong hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments
- Deep expertise in Google Workspace administration (Admin Console, security controls, DLP, Vault, Drive, Meet)
- Demonstrable experience working within an ISO 27001-certified environment is essential
- Strong understanding of ISMS maintenance and what is required to remain audit-ready
- Comfortable operating as a sole or primary IT resource
- Experience in cloud-first, SaaS-heavy environments, including IAM, MFA, and SSO
- Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple time zones (UK/US preferred)
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
