Overview of the Role:
The IT Infrastructure Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing the organisation’s IT infrastructure strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of IT systems while driving forward transformation initiatives. The role includes leadership of the infrastructure team, with a focus on innovation, performance, and alignment with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and align the infrastructure function within a divisional operating model.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture to contribute to long-term IT infrastructure planning.
- Drive the transition from on-premise systems to scalable, cloud-based solutions.
- Provide leadership and performance oversight to a globally distributed infrastructure team.
- Define and implement strategy and objectives for current and future infrastructure services.
- Manage vendor relationships and infrastructure-related budgets.
- Oversee infrastructure components within projects, ensuring efficient resource utilisation and delivery.
- Foster effective collaboration between infrastructure, broader IT teams, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain continuity and resilience across the global infrastructure environment.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure leadership or similar roles.
- Proven experience leading integration of infrastructure teams, ideally within M&A contexts.
- Strong background in cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure models.
- Solid experience in performance management, project execution, and team development.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and IT governance.

Leadership – Capable of inspiring and guiding teams toward shared objectives while cultivating a strong team culture.
Collaboration – Works effectively with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes, even beyond immediate areas of responsibility.
Analytical Thinking – Able to identify issues, interpret complex data, and determine root causes
