A growing tech business is looking for a mid level Automation Tester to support a cloud based EHS platform built within the Microsoft ecosystem. The position suits someone who enjoys ownership, values clean engineering practice, and wants to drive quality across a modern product environment.
The Automation Tester will design, build, and maintain automated tests across UI, API, and integration layers. The role spans the full development lifecycle and offers the chance to influence automation strategy, improve test coverage, and operate within a mature CI and CD setup. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, product colleagues, and fellow testers while contributing to ongoing improvements across the QA function.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, integration, and regression
- Enhance frameworks, tooling, and CI and CD pipelines
- Investigate failures, identify root causes, and support developers with fixes
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and help shape acceptance criteria
- Support QA strategy and offer guidance to junior team members when needed
- Around three to five years of software testing experience with strong automation experience
- Hands on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and API automation
- Experience with Git and CI and CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Solid grounding in QA methodologies and test design
- Experience with SaaS or Microsoft 365 technologies
- SQL and database testing exposure
- Familiarity with performance or security testing
