Monday - Friday role with no shift work. My client is a leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure solutions, specialising in the operation and maintenance of state-of-the-art data centres. Committed to ensuring uptime, efficiency, and safety in high-demand environments, they are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Engineer to join the team in Glasgow.
This role will maintain two sites - Chapelhall and Glasgow City Centre. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical systems within the data centre. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning at optimal levels to support 24/7 operations.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems, including HV Cooling Systems.
- Complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance of critical M&E assets.
- Complete condition monitoring of critical IT assets.
- Complete and document fault finding as part of root cause analysis.
- Provision IT services following an approved workflow.
Previous experience of working within a Facilities organisation would be a good fit for this role.
Electrical Qualifications: HND Electrical Engineering
Experience: Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a critical environment, such as a data centre, hospital, or industrial setting.
IT Skills: Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
