An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data & Systems Manager to join a global restaurant group, supporting a complex, multi-site, international operation. This role will take ownership of data quality, structure, and integrations across Inventory and EPOS platforms. It is a hands-on position focused on ensuring accurate data flows, reliable reporting, and strong system governance across the business. You will play a key role in enabling Finance and Operations teams to trust the numbers, while also supporting commercial decision-making through high-quality data insights. A strong understanding of the financial impact of data is essential. You will review inventory performance, investigate discrepancies, and highlight areas where audits or operational improvements may be required. In addition, you will support recipe and product data to ensure promotions and offers are executed consistently across all markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain data across Inventory, EPOS, and associated systems
  • Ensure accuracy of ingredients, recipes, costs, sales, and stock movements
  • Investigate inventory variances and support finance in resolving discrepancies
  • Review site performance reports, flag anomalies, and recommend actions
  • Support the delivery of accurate and timely reporting for finance and operations
  • Implement and manage data governance processes including audit trails and version control
  • Act as the central escalation point for data-related issues
  • Drive data validation and integrity checks across systems
  • Develop process guides and best practice documentation for operational teams
  • Manage supplier relationships and system roadmaps to meet evolving business needs
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, Operations, IT, and external vendors on integrations and system improvements

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Data Manager or Systems role
  • Strong background working with EPOS and/or Inventory systems (essential)
  • Understanding of stock control, COGS, and financial data flows
  • Experience within hospitality, retail, or food-led environments is highly desirable
  • Strong Excel skills and/or experience with BI tools
  • Experience with data integrations, including APIs and system-to-system feeds
  • Ability to analyse data, identify root causes, and link findings to commercial impact
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across finance, operations, and technical teams
