Data & Analytics Manager position overview and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Manager to lead a small, high-performing analytics team within a growing organisation that delivers data-driven solutions across multiple sectors.

About the Role

As Data & Analytics Manager, you’ll oversee a team of two analysts and take ownership of all reporting and insight functions. You’ll design and deliver Power BI dashboards, manage data pipelines, and translate complex information into clear, actionable intelligence for business and client stakeholders. This is a full-time onsite role based in Clydebank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two Data Analysts
  • Own and enhance the Power BI reporting suite
  • Partner with business leaders to define KPIs and deliver insights that improve performance
  • Manage data models, pipelines, and governance to ensure reliability and accuracy
  • Present insights to non-technical and client audiences in a clear, data-driven manner

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence
  • Proficiency in Power BI and SQL
  • Demonstrated experience leading or coaching analysts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • (Desirable) Experience in financial services, debt recovery, or credit management
