We are proudly partnering with Chivas in Dumbarton on an exciting recruitment drive to hire new engineering talent into their busy and fast-paced engineering department. This is a great time to join the business as they continue to invest in their transformation plans and growth of their site.
They are looking for mechanically biased maintenance engineers to work on an early shift/backshift rotation to support operations in achieving performance levels in bottling machinery and equipment and supporting our planned maintenance and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Supporting Operations – You will be supporting the bottling teams with continued electrical response as part of a 2-person team and also leading Continuous Improvement projects in the controls and automation field. You could also be supporting the teams with line cover and mechanical support to minimise setup and breakdown losses during production time.
- Maintenance – To maintain and improve the hall equipment performance to agreed targets and ensure planned preventative maintenance for all electrical systems is completed according to the CMMS schedule. You will also initiate, implement, and follow up on A3 projects in a continuous improvement environment.
- Collaboration – You will provide administrative support to the team through effective written and verbal communication and ensure continuity of work priorities and information flow during on-shift.
