The manager will be a key player from construction, commissioning and ultimately the operation of the complete process.

- Manage raw materials, production planning, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, HMRC requirements, and health & safety standards
- Oversee sustainability initiatives to enhance efficiency while respecting traditional methods
- Represent Glen Tromie Distillery in industry events, building relationships with stakeholders
- Report into Glasgow Whisky Ltd. leadership group on a weekly/monthly basis
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience in whisky distillation, ideally at a managerial level
- Strong technical knowledge of Distilling – preferably Single Malt Distilling
- Distilling Qualification/s (e.g. IBD/GCD, Diploma or Degree) or similar
- Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Project management experience, ideally in distillery expansions or process improvements
- Excellent understanding of compliance, health & safety, and industry regulations
- Passion for whisky and a deep appreciation of traditional and modern distillation techniques
- Ideally, you will be based within a commutable distance of Kingussie
This is an extremely rare opportunity to be an integral part of a forward-thinking team in the development of a modern, efficient, environmentally focussed distillery.
