We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Engineering Planner to support our FMCG clients' maintenance and reliability strategies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of their engineering team by managing work schedules, optimising planned maintenance, and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan & Schedule Maintenance β Develop, coordinate, and improve planned maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
- CMMS Management β Maintain and optimise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate reporting and data integrity.
- Performance Analysis β Analyse equipment downtime and work order history to drive continuous improvement and increase asset efficiency.
- Preventative Maintenance β Implement strategies to transition from reactive to proactive maintenance, reducing unplanned downtime.
- Team Support β Work closely with engineers, production teams, and site leadership to ensure maintenance schedules align with operational needs.
- Continuous Improvement β Support site-wide engineering improvement projects using CI/Lean methodologies.
What Weβre Looking For:
- Engineering background (apprenticeship/day release training preferred).
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, Tier 1 automotive, or industrial environments.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and high-level computer literacy.
- Knowledge of condition monitoring and preventative maintenance strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
