We are a busy, vibrant neighbourhood pub located in the heart of Battersea. Known for our warm hospitality, craft beers, and exceptional food, we are a staple of the local community. Whether it's a busy weekend, a packed match day, or a standout Sunday roast, we pride ourselves on delivering an amazing experience. We are now looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate General Manager to lead our front-of-house team and drive the business forward.

The Role

As General Manager, you will be the face of the venue, leading a motivated team, executing great events, and ensuring maximum profitability. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will maintain our high standards across both food and drink, while keeping the pub at the heart of the Battersea community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Take full ownership of the pub’s P&L, managing labor costs, stock control, and wet/dry GP to hit financial targets.
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing front-of-house team, fostering a positive and rewarding work culture.
  • Drive marketing initiatives, community events, and big match-day activations to boost footfall and sales.
  • Maintain strict standards of health and safety, licensing laws, and compliance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or strong Assistant General Manager ready to take the next step within a high-volume, premium pub or hospitality venue.
  • A naturally welcoming leader with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach to busy services.
