Salary £12.53 per hour Tenure Contracted or Bank (Zero hours) Hours Monday Friday 18:15 20:15 Saturday 08:45 13:00 / 13:00 17:15 Locations: Whitby Hospital, Springhill, Whitby, YO21 1DP Job Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nimbuscare team in the role of Receptionist to support the Nimbuscare team in the delivery of the Extended Access service at Whitby Hospital on behalf of the Whitby Coast and Moors Primary Care Network. You will be the first point of contact for our patients arriving for a face-to-face appointment and will be friendly and welcoming. You will ensure an efficient and professional reception provision and will work to ensure a positive patient experience. Main Duties and Responsibilities: To act as the main point of contact for patients & visitors arriving.
Report and action facility issues and faults where required. Where appropriate, escalate Health & Safety and facility issues. To support the clinical teams working in our services with basic requests. To manage the waiting room area whilst patients wait to be seen.
Interaction with patients to provide information, signposting, and advice. To demonstrate a competent level of interpersonal skills. Manage and prioritise own workload. Ensure the clinical rooms are stocked where appropriate.
Any other duties as directed. Completion of administrative tasks as directed.
