nimble solutions is currently seeking a RCM System Analyst to drive the implementation and ongoing optimization of our new workflow platform. nimble provides revenue cycle outsourcing services to ambulatory surgery centers, surgical practices, surgical hospitals, and anesthesia groups. This is a great opportunity to join our team and drive the effectiveness of our RCM workflow systems and technology. We are seeking a detail-oriented RCM System and Business Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with operations and IT to drive critical system/technology initiatives that improve the scale of our operations.

The successful candidate will have experience writing business requirements, managing timelines and resources for system builds, user acceptance testing, and training. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring we drive automation and support our teams with the technology tools they need to do their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Manage Technology Imperatives: Assigned to 2 technology imperatives to drive the initiative forward playing a key role between operations and technology teams.
  • Business Requirements: Responsible for documenting business requirements for technology needs that represent the business needs. Ability to quickly understand new business processes, shadow those processes and to drive technology needs.
  • System Analysis: Analyze and evaluate existing RCM systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • System Configuration: Maintain the configuration and set up within Workflow Platforms and other leveraged systems to ensure optimal performance of the business including monitoring SLAs, KPIs and providing leadership insights.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and partner with leaders to drive improvements in RCM workflow platform to improve billing, coding, and collections processes.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze performance reports related to revenue cycle performance, providing insights and recommendations to management on effective dashboards and regular reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to healthcare billing and coding.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to staff on RCM systems and software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including finance, IT, and clinical teams, to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations systems.
  • System Upgrades: Assist in the planning and implementation of RCM system upgrades and new technology integrations.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to RCM systems and processes, minimizing disruptions to revenue cycle operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of RCM processes, systems, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare billing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with RCM software and systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing and coding practices.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) are a plus.
