The Company
Our client is a privately owned, well-established Building Services contractor with a strong presence across the South West & Wales. With over 70 years in the industry, they have built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare and education. What sets them apart is how they treat their people. They have an excellent retention rate for a reason, offering a genuinely supportive, flexible and well-run environment where staff are looked after both financially and professionally. This is a business where you’re trusted to do your job without unnecessary pressure, and where work-life balance is taken seriously.
The Role
They are looking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of electrical packages across a range of projects from pre-construction through to completion. You’ll be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating with mechanical counterparts and ensuring delivery is safe, on programme and to a high standard. A key benefit with this role is that you will typically be involved from the outset, working on projects from a clean starting point rather than inheriting problem jobs. This allows for better control, clearer planning and a far more structured delivery process. The projects are predominantly local, meaning limited travel and a far more sustainable day-to-day routine compared to many contractors in the market. You’ll be working within a collaborative team, dealing directly with clients and supply chain, and playing a key role in delivering well-managed, technically sound projects.
The Requirements
You should currently be working as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager within the building services sector. You will need to be confident managing electrical installations on site, coordinating with wider MEP teams and taking responsibility for programme, delivery and client interaction. Experience across sectors such as commercial, healthcare or education would be advantageous.
The Package
The salary on offer is typically in the region of £65,000 - £75,000, depending on experience.
