We are a growing health and wellbeing clinic providing osteopathic treatments alongside studio classes and strength and conditioning / rehabilitation in our onsite gym. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the body and a desire to work within a team setting to help clients achieve their health goals. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, goals and health history.
- Work in conjunction with the osteopathic team to maximise treatment benefit.
- Be able to employ varying types of massage treatment intervention such as remedial, sports and relaxation.
- Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of client sessions and progress while ensuring confidentiality.
- The ability to work both in a team and independently.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective treatment planning.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
