The Role

As a Lead Consultant at Nimble, you'll be joining our Product & Design Capability, our permanent team of highly skilled product management, business analysis and user centred design consultants. We are looking for passionate and pragmatic people who can help to shape and develop our growing capability, as well as hit the ground running on client projects as a Lead User Researcher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead and conduct research projects end to end throughout the different GDS phases: Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live.
  • Design and conduct research with a range of users including those with different levels of digital accessibility.
  • Co‑ordinate user research activities across a number of teams.
  • Identify the root of the business problem or opportunity and use the appropriate research methods to understand the users.
  • Communicate effectively and present user insights to strategic decision makers.
  • Analyse & interpret research data with the ability to connect data from different sources.
  • Proactive involvement in growing our Product & Design capability, to generate awareness and engagement of UCD both internally in Nimble and externally with clients.

Key Skills

  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
  • Previous experience in a user research role on public sector, GDS projects.
  • Stakeholder management and effective communication skills.
  • Strong decision maker and able to influence stakeholders.
  • Tenacity - to overcome hurdles in both people and process.
  • Desirable - Previous consultancy experience.
