Nimbi is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join us on our mission to transform the future of women’s shave care. As our Operations Coordinator, you will be a critical part of making things happen and driving our mission forward through operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of Nimbi’s operational strategies and directly contribute to our growth and success. We think this would be a perfect opportunity for a recent grad or someone with 1-2 years’ experience from a quantitative background who is looking to move into an operational role in a dynamic startup environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supply chain operations: You will be responsible for ensuring our product is in the right place at the right time for the lowest cost, which will include:
    • Inventory management: Guarantee a consistent flow of inventory to meet dynamic demands across all distribution channels by keeping our inventory forecast up to date across multiple stock locations, coordinating replenishment of stock with suppliers and freight forwarders, and organising stock transfers between warehouses.
    • External stakeholder management: Forge and maintain strong relationships with all partners, ensuring seamless execution and operational excellence.
    • Information management: Keep track of all information related to COGS, product and logistics.
    • Other operational support: Provide comprehensive operational support across various sales channels, including major online retailers and specialty stores.
    • New product development: Manage the post-purchase customer experience, lead special product initiatives such as kitting, repackaging, and exclusive one-off products, and identify strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Expectations:

  • This job is a full-time position, based out of our beautiful co-working space in West London.
  • There is opportunity to work from home some days; this can be discussed further at the contract stage.
  • Due to the global nature of our supply chain, you may occasionally have to respond to emails or take calls outside regular working hours.

What we’re looking for in a candidate:

  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • You must have a BSc degree in a quantitative or business-focused subject (or otherwise have work experience that evidences your quantitative ability).
    • Experience working with Excel and Google tools.
    • Strong skills in external stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Start-up experience preferred but not required.
  • You’re the ideal candidate if you are:
    • Highly analytical and quantitative.
    • An agile, proactive team player who loves to take full ownership of tasks while knowing when to ask for help/escalate.
    • A clear communicator with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
    • A creative problem solver who is open to rethinking traditional ideas and approaches.
    • A quick learner who is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing and competing priorities.
  • This is probably not the right role for you if you:
    • Are looking for a predictable 9-to-5.
    • Are not comfortable working with numbers.

We will offer you:

  • A chance to be part of a company that’s at the forefront of transforming the shaving industry.
  • A collaborative, vibrant start-up culture that values fresh ideas and perspectives (and loves a team outing).
  • The opportunity to work in a high-impact role where your contributions are visible and valued.
  • A competitive salary commensurate with your level of experience.
  • The opportunity to expand your role as the company grows - we have a flat organisational structure, and you are encouraged to take on as much responsibility as you feel comfortable with.
