Midwich UK are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Business Partner to design, develop and curate high quality learning pathways that support capability, performance and career development across our UK & Ireland businesses. This role will play a key part in shaping our learning culture, managing our apprenticeship offer, and ensuring our people have access to the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. The role will be based at Nimans (a Midwich company) in Manchester.
What you will be doing in this role:
- Create, design and maintain structured learning pathways and programmes that tackle capability gaps and support business performance.
- Own and manage our apprenticeship offering, working closely with providers and internal teams to ensure compliance, quality and a positive learner experience.
- Curate and continually enhance our learning portfolio across classroom, digital and blended learning.
- Partner with leaders, HR colleagues and external providers to identify the most effective methods of learning delivery.
- Refresh and develop high quality learning content and resources to ensure they remain current and impactful.
- Act as the primary contact for the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accuracy, functionality and a seamless user experience.
- Deliver engaging in person and virtual learning sessions, using strong facilitation skills that inspire capability and behaviour change.
- Collaborate with EMEA L&D colleagues to align strategies, share best practice and ensure consistent, scalable programmes.
- Lead or contribute to L&D projects that promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Support internal communication of learning opportunities and maintain visibility of the L&D offering.
- Travel to sites across the UK & Ireland to support delivery and stakeholder engagement.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience designing and managing learning programmes or pathways.
- Strong experience working with apprenticeships and providers.
- Proven ability to deliver impactful, engaging learning content.
- Confident user of LMS systems.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office / 365.
- Full driving licence and access to transport.
