The Role

Improve the Group's website and digital marketing performance by effectively implementing the digital marketing strategy, creating a commercially focused team and website propositions, optimising a refreshed CRM strategy and continuously monitoring on and off site performance; whilst suggesting improvements to the Group's leadership team.

  • You Will
  • Deliver the digital marketing strategy under the guidance of the Chief Marketing Officer and enhance the website experience from first click to conversion across the brands' websites
  • Collaborate with associated agencies to ensure the websites are commercially focused, conversion ready and brand appropriate
  • Manage the Head of Content and Copy, Digital Marketing Executive and Group Team Assistant in their roles and ensure all associated responsibilities are met
  • Implement the brands' CRM and loyalty strategy under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer; including optimising customer segmentations and rolling out a plan for both new and returning customers
  • Monitor and benchmark performance across SEO, SEM and on the websites themselves, to identify opportunities for further improvements, both short and long-term, alongside the brands' agency
  • Set and manage monthly and seasonal ecommerce marketing budgets to achieve the growth plans online, determined by the Chief Marketing Officer
  • Lead on the key e-commerce sales initiatives, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product teams regarding the tactics, ensuring alignment across channels
  • Conduct website and associated sales analyses monthly, with clear insights and propose future tactics to the Chief Marketing Officer.
  • Use data to spot opportunities, fix gaps and improve performance across all channels
  • Continually analyse site offerings versus customer expectations to ensure a compelling proposition, as well as conducting competitor benchmarking alongside external feedback, as required
  • Develop and manage relationships with marketing partners as needed, to support conversion efforts
  • Work closely with internal teams to keep everything aligned and moving at speed.
  • You Will Have
  • Proven experience as a commercial, hands‑on marketer who can demonstrate how to drive revenue through digital marketing; capable of owning multiple moving parts such as acquisition and campaign delivery
  • Clear expertise in digital marketing tools as Google Ads, Google Analytics, META on‑site analytics and email marketing platforms
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing strategies across all digital platforms to drive growth and revenue
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge in all channels, including CRM, Paid Search, Paid Social and SEO
  • A calm, proactive outlook, always looking for ways to improve business performance through being data‑led and able to turn insight into action at speed
  • Two or more years’ experience, and confidence in, managing a team
  • Experience with e‑commerce loyalty schemes (ideally)
  • A degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, with at least 4 years’ experience in a digital marketing role.

The successful applicant will be based at home but will be required to attend our offices in Wadhurst, East Sussex, at least once a week.
