This Graduate Management Trainee Programme will give you the opportunity to work in rotation in Sales, Marketing, Commercial planning and Customer Service, allowing you to gain a broad commercial grounding within a blue-chip, international, premium brand.

This graduate scheme position at Nikon UK offers:

  • Starting base salary of £31,000 p.a., with regular reviews
  • Green travel allowance of £840 p.a.

Located in Surbiton, Surrey we are just 2 minutes from mainline station and onsite parking is available. We operate a hybrid working model 2 days in the office and 3 from home. This Graduate Management Trainee Programme will give you the opportunity to:

  • Work in real jobs in three of the following departments - Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Commercial Planning - during their first 2 years with the company.
  • Have responsibility from the outset in operational roles where you will gain hands-on experience and a broad array of skills.
  • Gain exposure to different people, functions and projects from the very start.

Examples of potential assignments within this Graduate Management Trainee Programme:

  • Sales Department – Operational retail support, direct sales support, outbound calls, managing marketing investments, reporting.
  • Customer Service Department – Delivering excellent customer service through prompt, professional handling of calls and emails, supporting marketing and customer engagement at key events.
  • Commercial Planning Department – Business analytics, budget planning, market and business insight.
  • Marketing Department – Keeping updated with industry news, marketing updates, email communications, public relations, researching photographers and building relationships, supporting launch events.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Graduate with a 2:1 or above.
  • Have minimum 7 GCSEs (grade B/7 or above, including Maths & English).
  • 3 A Levels (grades B or above).
  • Have demonstrable leadership experience - evidence of proactively initiating / leading a group activity.
  • Be keen to work across different business functions.
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skills.
