Location: Ideally based in the Gloucester / Cheltenham area or within reasonable distance to Bristol, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, and Swindon.

Travel: Frequent travel within the UK and Europe required.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to support our customers in the UK and across Europe. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, service, and repair of our advanced metal additive manufacturing systems at customer sites. Our key customers are located in the Bristol and Worcester area, with additional assignments across the UK and Europe depending on business needs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Installation and commissioning of Nikon SLM (Selective Laser Melting) machines at customer sites.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and service activities.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and laser-based systems.
  • Providing technical support and training to customers.
  • Ensuring high customer satisfaction through professional service delivery.
  • Documentation of service activities and reporting.
  • Supporting European service operations when UK workload is low.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Experience as a field service technician, ideally in the field of industrial machinery or high-tech equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
