Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is a leading provider of cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, process systems, turboexpanders, services, and solutions for the liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied hydrogen (LH2), and industrial gases industries. Applications include fueling stations, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, virtual pipelines, carbon capture, geothermal power, and well stimulation.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for interpreting information packages to assemble and produce products. You will read and interpret blueprints, position parts, and ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. The goal is to produce complex products by putting together smaller components.
Responsibilities- Follow assembly instructions and blueprints.
- Listen to directions from supervisors.
- Position parts and subassemblies.
- Interpret measurements.
- Verify specifications.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions as needed.
- Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
- Report errors to supervisor.
- Work with other assemblers to create a final product.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.
