Who You\'ll Work With
As we implement our Digital First Supply Chain Strategy within Operations, we seek an Intralogistics Project Delivery Engineer that will help us implement a material handling solution for our UK Distribution Centre (DC) planned to launch in 2027

As an Intralogistics Project Delivery Engineer you work alongside process and construction teammates to build a brand-new Distribution Centre befitting of one of the most iconic and innovative global brands. The ambition is clear, build a ground-breaking omni-channel DC encompassing the best innovation, automation, and iconic design.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Professional qualification in engineering or equivalent experience, you are familiar with all aspects of automation (mechanical, electrical & controls).
  • You have a broad technical knowledge, where you have gained experience with the various aspects of MHE installation (electrical, mechanical, PLC, pneumatics)
  • You can read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams
  • Experience realizing technical projects at scale in a highly automated environment.
  • An affinity and curiosity about material handling systems.
  • You take personal responsibility for the realization of the project
  • You enjoy teamwork, working with cross-functional teams and in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-solving ability and driven for results.
  • You have strong formal and informal communication skills
  • You have knowledge of UK norms and regulations regarding technical installations
  • A high-performance mentality: bias for action, drive for results while demonstrating positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Flexible in work patterns during the project installation
  • CSCS credentials to carry out role on site
  • Formal qualification in Safety practices

What You\'ll Work On
As an Intralogistics Project Delivery Engineer you will be deployed from the start of the project installation, all the way through to testing, commissioning, solution acceptance so that a well-functioning installation can be handed over once the DC launches.

As part of the Automation team you will contribute to the implementation of an optimal and efficient material handling solution. This will involve deep understanding and experience with all aspects of material handling equipment / automation (mechanical, electrical and controls)

  • Reports to Lead Project Engineer in all aspects of project technical delivery and scope management
  • Ensures project technical and quality installation requirements are met
  • Ensures project adherence to NIKE quality processes and procedures
  • Support the Project Engineer in identifying and managing risks and issues
  • Support the Project Engineer in the day-to-day project delivery
  • Provide Health and Safety leadership by example
  • Work closely with principal contactor and OEM vendors
