The Coach Athlete Services & Training supports a high-performance, customer-focused culture through team engagement, communication, onboarding, training coordination, and talent support.

Partnering with the Assistant Head Coach and store leadership team, this role helps ensure teammates are informed, connected, engaged, and equipped to succeed.

The role supports engagement initiatives, learning programs, onboarding activities, communication strategies, and seasonal recruitment processes that enhance teammate experience, strengthen operational capability, and contribute to business performance.

The Coach also leads a cohesive store communication strategy to ensure consistent messaging, stronger team understanding, and alignment with business priorities.

  • As an Athlete Services & Training Coach you will
  • Team Engagement & Culture
  • Support store engagement initiatives, action plans, recognition programs, and activities that build team connection.
  • Gather teammate feedback through surveys, focus groups, listening sessions, and informal channels.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen a positive, inclusive, high-performing culture rooted in company values.
  • In-Store Communication
  • Own and execute the store communication strategy, ensuring key business messages are clear, consistent, timely, relevant, and accessible to all store teammates.
  • Develop communication plans and manage channels that support operational priorities, campaigns, people initiatives, leadership updates, and store objectives.
  • Partner with leaders and gather feedback to improve communication effectiveness and strengthen teammate understanding of business priorities.
  • Learning & Development Support
  • Coordinate training, learning programs, workshops, and development initiatives for new and existing teammates.
  • Maintain accurate, current training resources, materials, records, and completion tracking.
  • Track compliance, learning effectiveness, and promote continuous learning and professional development.
  • Onboarding & Capability Building
  • Support onboarding for all new store teammates, including induction activities, training timelines, required tasks, and mandatory learning.
  • Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and development needs while keeping onboarding records and capability tracking up to date.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain accurate tracker, and reports across people activities.
  • Monitor key people metrics and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Support people-related projects and initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements to teammate experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Seasonal Recruitment Coordination
  • Coordinate seasonal recruitment activity with store leaders and Talent Acquisition, delivering plans aligned to store hiring needs.
  • Schedule interviews, assessments, hiring events, and onboarding programs while supporting workforce planning and seasonal hiring timelines.
  • Track recruitment progress and provide regular updates to store leadership.

  • Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong planning, prioritization and problem-solving skills to support seasonal workforce planning, talent pipeline development, and recruitment readiness.
