Overview

Nike Factory Store York is looking for our next part-time (32 hours) Sales Assistant to join our team and provide world-class service to the consumer. What you bring:

Responsibilities

  • Use your expertise in exceptional consumer service and product knowledge to serve and deliver a premium brand experience to our consumers.
  • Assist retail leads and floor managers (Coaches) in training new employees.
  • Support store departments (operate cash register, manage incoming and outgoing goods, refill products on the shop floor, build visual displays) and recommend appropriate products to reach sales targets.
  • Use knowledge of digital devices to create a bond between online and offline sales or services in the store.
  • Inform consumers and new teammates about Nike products and services.
  • Improve knowledge via tools and training courses to stay up to date and gain insights on sales trends, Nike products, services, and culture.
  • Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Effective communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques.
  • Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays, based on department and store/company needs.
  • Availability between 07:00 and 22:00.
  • Fully flexible as required by store needs.
