Retail Assistant (Part‑time – 20 hours per week)
About the Role
NIKE Unite Teesside is looking for a part‑time Retail Assistant to join our team and provide world‑class service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Use your expertise in exceptional consumer service and product knowledge to deliver a premium brand experience.
- Assist retail leads and floor managers (Coaches) in training new employees.
- Support various store departments, such as operating the cash register, managing incoming and outgoing goods, refilling products on the shop floor, and building visual displays.
- Recommend appropriate products to reach sales targets.
- Create a bond between online and offline sales or services in the store using knowledge of digital devices.
- Inform customers and new teammates about NIKE products and services.
- Apply product sales techniques to demonstrate a strong sales capability.
Qualifications
- Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
- Effective communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate.
- Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques.
- Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Available weekends; able to work between 7 am and 9 pm.
