Responsibilities
Store Engagement
Develop and support store engagement plans that improve employee experience, communication, recognition, and retention.
Use feedback, engagement surveys, and data insights to identify opportunities aiming to improve teammate experience and support a high performing inclusive culture.
Partner with store leaders to align team engagement with Nike values and business priorities.
Learning & Development
Coordinate and facilitate training for new and existing store teammates.
Support the design, update, and improvement of learning content, tools, and resources.
Evaluate training effectiveness and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
Onboarding & Capability Building
Manage and continuously improve onboarding to ensure new hires complete required training and build the skills needed to meet store standards.
Support role–specific learning pathways, career progression and targeted development plans.
Track training completion, compliance, and capability metrics.
Leadership Development Support
Support leadership development for store management teams.
Help identify and develop retail talent through succession planning, coaching, and mentoring opportunities.
Provide managers with tools and guidance to coach and develop their teams effectively.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Maintain learning and engagement dashboards, and reporting.
Analyze training, engagement, turnover, and performance trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Support projects that strengthen people capability, drive engagement, and improve organizational effectiveness while maintaining compliance standards.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with store leadership and cross‑functional partners.
Act as a trusted advisor for engagement, learning, and development initiatives.
Share project updates, outcomes, and recommendations with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Passion for NIKE and/or love of sport.
- Proven retail leadership experience with ability to train store teams, identify learning needs and measure how training improves service, performance, and team capability.
- Very good command of English language (written and spoken).
- Strong consumer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and influence effectively across teams.
- Advanced capabilities in coaching, developing, and engaging high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Ability to apply innovative thinking to strengthen engagement, support change, and build career and succession pathways for retail talent.
- Ability to build and develop strong stakeholder relationships.
