Nijhuis Saur Industries have a great opportunity for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our expanding team within the North. Join an ambitious, growing company, which provides both in-house and external training for the right people and offers genuine future career development and progression.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8/HSG 274 Control Regimes
- Water sampling, in readiness for laboratory analysis
- Shower cleans & disinfections
- TMV servicing, calibration & replacements
- CWST Clean & Disinfections
- CWST & Water Heater inspections & surveys
- Plumbing remedial works, dependent on experience & qualifications
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Full driving licence
- Excellent timekeeping
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 Part 2
- Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits
- A keenness to progress and take on additional training
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (essential)
- Be able to pass an enhanced DBS
Working for us means:
- The salary is up to £34,000 per year, depending on your professional experience
- Overtime - Monday to Saturday at 1.5, Sunday at 2
- Holidays - 25 days + 8 statutory days
- Company Van & Fuel Card
- Probationary Period – 6 months
- Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice
- Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation
- Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment
- Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter
