We are currently looking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor/ Environmental Services Consultant to manage an existing account base within the Southwest of the UK. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments to comply with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and further relevant documents across a range of commercial and industrial properties.
- Produce all reports accurately and to a high standard, with clear recommendations for corrective actions and control measures.
- Understand technical guidance and documentation.
- Production of schematics.
- You will need to be flexible in terms of travel with potential stayaways across the UK.
- Be capable of following written and verbal instructions accurately and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work to stringent turnaround times of reports.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in Water Hygiene and a minimum of 1 year role specific experience.
- Candidates must have a relevant Legionella risk assessment qualification City & Guilds or equivalent.
- The ability to work independently whilst also being a team player.
- The ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Full, UK driving licence.
Working for us means:
- The salary is between £28,000 & £36,000 per year, depending on your professional experience.
- Company car or generous car allowance package.
- Overtime - 1.5.
- Holidays - 25 days plus bank holidays, buy and sell scheme available.
- Probationary Period – 6 months.
- Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice.
- Eligible to join Private Healthcare.
- Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment.
- Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
