NSI Commercial Buildings Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Water Hygiene Engineer
to join our expanding team.
You’ll be primarily based in West Sussex, with occasional work further afield. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the water hygiene industry with full training, mentoring, and clear progression opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Flushing of infrequently used outlets.
Conduct temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8 / HSG 274 control regimes
Carry out water sampling for laboratory analysis
Perform shower cleans and disinfections
Service, calibrate, and replace TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves)
Clean and disinfect Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST)
Inspect and survey CWSTs and water heaters
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Full UK driving licence
Excellent timekeeping
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Good basic understanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 Part 2
Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits
A keenness to progress and take on additional training
NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing – desirable, not essential
Be able to pass an enhanced DBS
Working for us means:
The salary is between £22,000 & £26,000 per year, depending on your professional experience.
Holidays – 25 days + 8 statutory days
Company Van & Fuel Card
Probationary Period – 6 months.
Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months – Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice.
Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation.
Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment.
Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
