We offer an alternative to fixed plants to help customers maintain continuity of supply to core operations and minimise downtime in a wide range situation 24/7, 365 days a year. Summary
The Services Sales & Business Developer will establish contacts and build relationships with key decision-making personnel across all industrial sectors. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, customer & services orientated business developer. You will report directly to the Division Sales Manager (UK). This position sits within the Nijhuis Saur Industries Mobile Water Solutions business. You will be predominantly based home within a one-hour commute of our Stoke office. The role will also include frequent travel & industrial site visits.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new customers
- Maintain contacts with existing customers and build long-term partnerships
- Calculate prices based on the standard cost-sheet
- Prepare proposals (technical & process support from Europe Operations Team)
- Direct strategic sales and negotiations
- Establish sales & development plan for the dedicated area and activity
- Identify new markets or fields of opportunities
- Contribute proactively to the business & profitability growth
- Build brand awareness & implement marketing plan (support from Europe Marketing Team) and participate in communication events and actions
- Services & rental of IEX assets for industrial customers
- Prepare and actively participate in sales team reviews & reports
- Adherence to internal procedures, contractual terms etc.
Job Requirements
- Engineer/Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with confirmed experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales (services, water treatment etc.)
- Technical background in water treatment desirable
Working for us means:
- The salary is up to ÂŁ39,000 per year, depending on your professional experience
- Holidays - 25 days + 8 statutory days
- Company car or car allowance
- Probationary Period – 6 months
- Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice
- Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation
- Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment
- Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter
